Remanufacturing process in detail
- All received old core is sorted and graded. We only recycle components that pass our strict initial inspection criteria. All other non-conforming components are scrapped and recycled where possible.
- The old core is disassembled, inspected further (for internal defects and problems) and once passed is routed to our surface treatment section for preparation.
- Castings are powder blasted, cleaned and then have either a paint layer applied or coated in a chemical protective solution.
- All prepared bodies and castings are passed via another quality assurance inspection, ensuring only suitable units enter production.
- Bearings, seals, hardware and other critical components are always replaced with new parts, regardless of condition.
- Critical dimensions are checked against OE (Original Equipment) specifications.
- Units are assembled by our highly trained technicians.
- Intensive testing is performed on the newly built units and function checks are performed in accordance with OE guidelines.
- End-of-line inspections is performed, before product labelling and packaging.
- Product and component quality is strictly monitored throughout the entire remanufacturing process.
